Dominic Harlan
Pianist, composer, animateur and musical director Dominic Harlan is artistic-director of Glyndebourne’s ‘Opera Experience’ . He has devised, performed and composed projects for Wigmore Hall, Garsington Festival and Opera North, and MD’d shows as diverse as’Canticles’(Tete a Tete/Streetwise Opera), ‘Modern Major General’ (Proteus) and ‘Ain’t Misbehavin – The Fats Waller Musical Show’ (OTTC) .
Karen Gillingham Biography
Karen works as an opera director and movement director with a special interest in devising new work. Her directing credits include Demon Juice (Royal Opera House/Stratford Circus), Hip Hop La Boheme (BBC Blast/ROH), Twenty Women Singing (Welsh National Opera), Floria (ROH), Don Giovanni (devised RESEO/Bastille, Paris), Jack Sheppard, (ENO) and Chorus! (WNO revival and movement director). Future projects include new works for the Linbury (ROH) and Garsington Community Opera.
Brendan O'Connor
Spatial designer for theatre, film, television, interior/architecture, conference and exhibition both in this country and internationally. Includes work for ballet frankfurt, jan fabre, U2, goldman sachs, Royal National Theatre, the Royal Court Opera North and the Royal Opera House. Lectures at Central School of Speech and Drama, Rose Bruford College of Performing Arts and the University of Hertfordshire.
