On 8th September 1560, Amy Robsart was found dead at the bottom of the stairs at Cumnor Place.
She had been left at home by her husband, Robert Dudley - Earl of Leicester, while he spent his time cavorting with Queen Elizabeth the First.
Did she fall, or was she pushed…?
Best selling novelist Iain Pears (An Instance of the Fingerpost) and Head of Composition at the Royal Academy of Music, Philip Cashian, team up with Tête à Tête’s renowned musical and dramatic forces to create a cliff-hanger of an operatic murder mystery.
