Britten Theatre & Online

Enjoy five world-premiere short operas by Royal College of Music composers, brought to life by RCM singers and instrumentalists working with Tête à Tête. We’re delighted to be returning to RCM to continue over a decade of creating new operas with their students.

Each piece transports you to a new fantastical setting, where you’ll encounter magical characters revealing stories of human emotion.

Operas include Daniel Musashi’s Ogga Loggas, in which ancient forests and age-old curses teach us the importance of looking after our world, and Lasha Kharkhelauri’s Ramona, a Georgian tale of love and upheaval set inside a puppet theatre.

The RCM Opera Studio is supported by the Patrick and Helena Frost Foundation and Old Possum’s Practical Trust.

Tête à Tête is supported by Arts Council England and the Friends of Tête à Tête.
