Having presented live music performances for many years, sounduk wanted to start creating work with contemporary music thoroughly integrated into the performance. The idea for a miniature musical circus took seed a couple of years ago, and bided its time, waiting for the right moment and the right people. Supported by Arts Council England, this is the first try out of the idea following a week of work shopping with the creative team. If it works, we very much hope it can develop into a full piece.
