On Being Vocal – Survey Information

A major element of the On Being Vocal project is to explore how to include mothers of very young children among our audiences for opera. It would be a really big help in our exploration of this if you were to fill in this survey.

Crèche facility at the Theatre: what do you think?

We want to make the experience of going to the theatre and opera more accessible to parents, especially mums and parents in the early days of parenthood.

We are considering including a crèche facility for the audience’s children in a future show – or ideally THIS show –  and we want to hear your thoughts.

The crèche: a supervised play-area located inside/close to the theatre building run by Ofsted approved DBS checked carers where parents can drop off their children while they attend the show. Like at IKEA or the gym or a wedding. This facility will be affordable and more economical than hiring a childminder in London. The show will be on the weekend in the afternoon.
