Saturday 7th August, 16.00 – Tom Weil Chance

Free, promenade event starting at the Riverside Studios Foyer and taking in venues off site

Chance was devised as an experiment into the role of the observer within contemporary classical music and contrives a form of naturalistic drama, vocal style and libretto. The action is removed from the concert hall and set loose on the streets encouraging the audience to grow as the action progresses. Written in 2007, the work is an ultimately bleak exploration into coping with loss.
