We are delighted to be presenting a Team Talk for the OMTF on our experiences this Summer.
Whether you are putting on a single show or curating a festival, doing it online or in a theatre, this talk from the team behind the only DCMS pilot for opera in a theatre and a hybrid festival of over 51 events including 18 shows in a theatre with paying audiences in September will help you as they share experiences and takeaways.
Join Artistic Director Bill Bankes-Jones and the Tête à Tête 2020 Festival Team in conversation with David Ward, OMTF board Member and host of Operacast, as the team share insights into programming and platforms, buildings and box office, marketing and monetising, and of course Health & Safety in this talk with Q&A.
OMTF Team Talks are hour long Zoom sessions which will explore all the angles of a completed project through discussion with members of the team who put it together. These will involve the practical aspects of technical, managerial, marketing and financial areas as well as creative. We will look at how ideas arose in the context of the company’s objectives and resources, what the challenges were, how they were overcome, what went wrong, and the takeaways. The current focus is on projects that have been designed to meet the Covid challenges.
