There will be a live performance of Serenoid at 20:30 on the 17th of September.
All humanoids and other life-forms, organic and synthetic, are welcome to experience Serenoid, a ghostly, steampunk-flavoured story of queer romance and found family inspired by online fanfiction and its creative niche spaces. Xaven (Victoria Oruwari), a blind engineer and Corrie (Taryn Surratt), an android violinist have to overcome their struggle with isolation and connection to find themselves and each other in a semi-acoustic, semi-electronic score with breath-taking young singers and musicians. Beam aboard and be warned – this opera has a tag line!
You can download a programme for Serenoid here.
You can download a libretto for Serenoid here.
Once you have booked you will be sent a Zoom link on the day. If you have not received this 30 minutes before the event is due to start please email info@tete-a-tete.org.uk. If you are trying to book immediately prior to the performance please email info@tete-a-tete.org.uk.
