Tête à Tête: The Opera Festival grew out of a number of “speed dating” events where several dozen artists from all disciplines came together to create jointly a performance there and then.

The resulting pieces, created from scratch in little more than an hour, were really worthwhile in their own right as performances and also taught us, and everyone taking part, that making new opera is possible within a very short timescale using negligible resources beyond the imaginations of the people coming together to make it.

We organised these events in 2005-2007, here are four short videos from the second.
